Announcement
We have recently switched to using distilled water in our water lines for doing our procedures.
As you know, distilled water has eliminated the bacteria from the water making dentistry possible under complete sterile environment.

They will also answer any billing questions that you may have. The following information is provided to help prepare you and your family for a great experience in our office. Scheduling an Appointment


At Newport Dental Group, we offer a variety of appointment dates and time to fit with your busy schedule. To schedule an appointing contact us at (949) 574-0100 or drop by and see us, we are located in the Costa Messa Courtyards shopping center. If you are new to our practice, please provide us the following information when scheduling an appointment:
•  Name and date of birth
•  Insurance information (member ID number and group number)
•  Policy holder information (name and date of birth)
•  How your head about us

First Visit


As a new patient in our office, your first visit will be a consultation with the doctor and will take about an hour. Then the doctor will discuss with you your oral health goals, any pain you are experiencing, Complete an exam, diagnosis any issues he finds and discusses treatment options with you. Depending on scheduling and the complexity of the recommended treatment, a second appointment may be necessary to begin your treatment.

Please complete the following new patient forms before your appointment or arrive 15 minutes early to fill them out in the office.

For your safety, please let us know of any medical conditions or current medications that you are taking. If possible, please bring a list of current medications from your primary physician.

Insurance & Patient Co-payments


If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available. To best assist you, it is important that you submit your dental and medical insurance information to us with your New Patient Paperwork a minimum of two business days before your scheduled appointment. This allows us time to contact your insurance company and obtain a breakdown of the benefits you or your employer purchased from the company. Also, you will want to bring a dental benefit book that your carrier should be able to provide. Our front office staff will be happy to help you understand your policy.

Should you be diagnosed with treatment services, we will be able to provide you with a detailed plan which will give you an estimate of how much your insurance company may pay for each procedure, as well as the portion you will be expected to pay at the time of service.

Payment Options


In an effort to reduce the cost to you, the patient, while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established the financial policy as follows:
•  Payment of any account balance is due in full within 20 days of statement date
•  We gladly accept Visa, Discover, American Express or MasterCard payments
•  Payment plans are available through www.CareCredit.com

No Insurance? No problem


Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have dental insurance. We have a dental membership plan that is an excellent alternative to dental insurance. Our membership plan has affordable annual fee that offers a discount on all your preventative care (cleanings, x-rays, and exams) for the year plus offers discounts on additional services we provide. Second Opinions and Referrals


We are happy to schedule a second-opinion consultation with our doctor to discuss treatment diagnosed for you. All patients that are referred to our office from another practice, or who have self-referred themselves for a second opinion are required to undergo a complete examination by our doctor before he provides his diagnosis opinion. After your consultation with the doctor, we will be providing you with a comprehensive treatment estimate.

Canceling an Appointment


We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask the same courtesy from your family. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately, giving a minimum of 48 hours notice to avoid any missed appointment fees. We realize that unexpected illnesses and emergencies may occur, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.
